STUDIES AND FORMATION

"When we pray, we speak to God; but when we read, God speaks to us."

 – St. Jerome

There are many ways to grow in our relationship with Christ and deepen our faith. Through Bible studies, prayer and spiritual formation, and opportunities for thoughtful reflection and discussion, we are invited to encounter Jesus more deeply and discover how He is calling us to live as His disciples. Together, we grow in faith and understanding, guided by Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the wisdom of the Magisterium. In community, we encourage one another through prayer, fellowship, and shared reflection as we seek to live out the Gospel more fully in our daily lives.

FARTHER ALONG: MEN'S FORMATION IN PRAYER SERIES

For men seeking to grow deeper in prayer and closer to Christ.

Join Tim DiLaura, a Third Order Carmelite, for a formation series designed to help men take their next step toward God in prayer. Together, we’ll explore the transformative stages of prayer and the interior journey toward deeper union with Christ, seeking to live the words of St. Paul: “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” (Gal 2:20)

Each session will offer formation, discussion, personal witness, reflection, and practical support for your own prayer life, drawing especially from the wisdom of St. John of the Cross.

Men of the Word, brothers in Christ.

An Ongoing Men's Group and Bible Study

For men who feel the Lord Jesus calling them into a deeper life of prayer, discipleship, and union with Him.

Together, we will journey in brotherhood—sharing openly, supporting one another, and holding each other accountable as we seek ongoing conversion and spiritual growth.

As we draw closer to God in prayer, we will begin to experience His presence more deeply—discovering His love, His peace, our true identity, and our ultimate purpose in Christ. Through His Word, we will truly encounter the living Jesus.

Each meeting will center on the Gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday Mass, allowing Jesus to guide and teach us through Scripture. During the week, our personal prayer will be enriched by reflections from Fr. John Bartunek’s powerful book, The Better Part.

Charity & Truth: A Catholic Vision for Political Renewal

A 12-week study for men seeking to live their faith in public life.

As we commemorate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, how are we called to live not only as citizens, but as disciples of Jesus Christ? Drawing from Archbishop William E. Lori’s pastoral letter In Charity and Truth: Toward a Renewed Political Culture, this study invites men to prayerfully reflect on the political and cultural tensions of our time through the lens of Sacred Scripture and Catholic social teaching.

Rather than giving us strategies for changing our culture, this study begins with the transformation of our own hearts. Together, we’ll explore what it means to be leaven in the dough, salt of the earth, and light for the world—witnesses to charity and truth in a divided world. Through prayer, thoughtful discussion, and spiritual reflection, we’ll consider how Christ is calling us to renewed conversion and faithful engagement in the life of our nation.

Spiritual Motherhood: The Transforming Power of the Feminine Genius

A 22-week Walking with Purpose Bible study for women of all ages.

Open the door to your heart and discover the transforming power of your feminine genius. In this 22-week Walking with Purpose Bible study, Spiritual Motherhood: The Transforming Power of the Feminine Genius, explore what it means to fully bear the image of God and embrace the unique call He has placed on your life.

Spiritual motherhood is not reserved for biological mothers or women who have made religious vows. It is a call to a new way of seeing and a radical gift of self—a beautiful expression of the feminine genius that can transform our families, communities, and an increasingly dehumanizing culture.

The study is free; participants only need to purchase the book.

Mondays, beginning September 14th

Its prophecies point again and again to the coming Messiah, making it especially meaningful for Christians seeking a deeper understanding of Jesus and God's plan of salvation.
