Lighting the Fire of the Holy Spirit in Every Middle Schooler
Fuel is Christ the King’s middle school youth ministry for 6th–8th graders. Here, students grow closer to Jesus, build lasting friendships, and experience the power of the Holy Spirit through engaging nights of worship, small groups, and fun activities.
For 7th and 8th graders, Fuel also serves as Christ the King’s Confirmation preparation program, helping students prepare their hearts to receive the Sacrament while exploring their faith in a nurturing and inspiring environment.
A Night at Fuel:
- 7:00 PM – Social Time & Snack: Connect with friends and meet new people before the night begins.
- 7:25 PM – Faith Formation: Dive into your own story and see how God is at work in your life.
- 8:00 PM – Small Groups: Explore the night’s topics with friends in a comfortable, supportive setting.
- 8:25 PM – Worship & Adoration: Lift your heart through music and prayer. Prayer ministers are available for personal prayer.
- 9:00 PM – Conclusion: End the night inspired, connected, and ready to live out your faith.

About Our FUEL Team
Fuel team is about community, prayer, sacrifice and intentional living with Christ. It is a challenge to step outside of your comfort zone along with other high schoolers while encouraging each other to become more fully alive in Christ. It means spending the time and energy to get to know and hang out with others who aren’t in your friend group. It means stepping out in using the charismatic gifts. It means striving to live each day intentionally. It means reaching out to the middle schoolers and offering them care and support. Fuel Team is a call to war—to join others, put on the armor of God, train and battle for the middle schoolers through intercession, self-growth, stepping outside of your comfort zone and then just loosening up and being goofy with the kids.
