Confirmation preparation at christ the king


At Christ the King, we are passionate about raising up Spirit-filled disciples. Our Confirmation program is a two-year journey for 7th and 8th graders (or older students who have not yet been confirmed), combining catechesis, mentoring, and vibrant worship experiences.



Program Highlights

  • Two-Year Formation
    Students grow spiritually over two years, preparing their hearts and minds to receive the Holy Spirit in Confirmation.


  • Sunday Evening Sessions
    Classes include teaching, discussion, and     FUEL praise and worship. Participation in Fuel prayer meetings is required as part of the program. Learn more about Fuel →


  • Faith Mentoring
    Teens are guided by adults and older peers who live the     Catholic Charismatic life, providing support and encouragement throughout the journey.


  • Sacramental & Catechetical Formation
    Students will deepen their understanding of:
  • Who Jesus is
  • God’s call to humanity and the purpose of life
  • The Church, the Trinity, and the Sacraments
  • The moral life, theological virtues, and living in the Spirit
  • The Liturgy and worship


  • Service & Retreats
    Hands-on     service projects help students live out their faith in the community.
    A     day-long Confirmation retreat gives students the opportunity to fully dedicate their lives to God while preparing for the sacrament.


  • Sacramental Requirements
  • Baptismal certificate must be provided to begin the program
  • Each student chooses a sponsor in the second year
