Family Pentecost Novena

Day 5 – Tuesday, May 19

Proclamation: Jesus went back to the Father but did not leave me alone. He sent the Holy Spirit to keep me close to the Father and close to my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Scripture: John 17:11

Jesus said, “And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are.”

Praise and Prayer: “I will ask the Father and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always.” Alleluia verse before the Gospel

Heavenly Father, I praise you for the gift of the Holy Spirit! You are always so good to me.

Worship the Lord: 

GREAT ARE YOU LORD All Sons and Daughters

Called to Greatness: Read the above Scripture one more time. Did you hear what Jesus said? He said that you can be so closely connected to other Christians that it is like the closeness of the Father with the Son! The Holy Spirit makes this possible. Do you want to experience this? Prayer is a good place to start. It is good to pray with other believers. Find someone at home and plan to pray together for a few minutes every day!
