EVANGELIZATION
"Modern man listens more willingly to witnesses than to teachers, and if he does listen to teachers, it is because they are witnesses"
— Pope Paul VI
The New Evangelization is the Church’s call to invite people to encounter Christ and His love, bringing the faith into everyday life with joy and courage. At Christ the King, we embrace this mission—sharing the faith boldly, guided by the Holy Spirit. Through the Charismatic Renewal, we emphasize using the spiritual gifts (charisms) God has given each of us to share His love with others. In addition to offering formation for those curious about the Catholic faith or discerning membership in the Church, we seek to empower Catholics to recognize and use their gifts—such as teaching, hospitality, and encouragement—and to grow more confident in sharing their faith. Our programs include practical training in evangelization and opportunities to put it into action in our parish and beyond.
