The fifth grade class will spend the year going deeper into the “Great Mysteries” in the Credo. There is no textbook for this year.
The fifth grade this year will be learning some important hymns of the Church. For example, they will be learning the Creed and Daily, Daily Sing to Mary as well as reviewing the Salve Regina.
A significant emphasis will be on the mysteries of the Rosary and they will end each class by praying a decade of the Rosary. They will all receive Rosary cases, holy cards with the mysteries on them and cards reminding them how to pray the Rosary.
